Memorial Day weekend
Brooklynn, Joshua, Ryan, and Taylor with Grandma on the trampoline.
Adam and Kevin digging and digging.
Brooklynn and Taylor with Grandpa.
Joshua still has issues being on the grass. He sat on the cushions and eventually slid off onto the grass.
Once he was off the cushions, I moved them out of the way and he had fun pulling at the grass and playing with the sticks. Ryan was having a ball crawling all over and playing on the slide and other toys in the yard.
After the hole was dug, we had dinner outside. When the bugs started coming out, we went inside and let the boys play with the toys and discovered Joshua is deathly afraid of Elmo. He is startled easily, and the toys that moved by themselves kind of freaked him out. Poor little guy. Later we played a game (Trans America) with Kevin and Brandie. It was a fun day.
On Monday, Adam didn't have to work at either of his jobs, and it was nice to have him home an extra day. We spent the morning cleaning, and in the afternoon, my parents came over to watch Joshua while we went to see the new Indiana Jones movie.
Adam was really looking forward to seeing it, and he happened to get free passes for it from a vendor at work a few weeks ago. It was a fun movie and we enjoyed it very much!
All in all, it was a fun holiday weekend. Now we have the long stretch of no vacation until the 4th of July, which I guess is only a little over a month away, but still...

I am glad that you liked the movie- we want to go see it as well, but it didn't get very good reviews. I think it should be fun! Also, the weather sure looks beautiful!

Poor Joshua, with Elmo scarring him for life and whatnot.
I was suprised to learn how many kids have isues with grass for the first little while and then next thing you know they can't stay off of it and want to eat it for every meal.
You guys are so sweet to help out Kevin and Brandie with digging to put in a patio. You guys have the best little supportive family.
