New toys for the boys
There are all sorts of buttons to push and levers to pull and things to open and close. Everything you touch makes a sound or plays a song. Joshua loves it already and has lots of fun walking around it and playing with everything.
The other toy we got today is a Nintendo Wii.
Ever since they came out Adam has wanted one. We were at our friends Anika and Sean's house last Saturday and Adam had a chance to play their Wii, which only served to move the purchase of one up higher on Adam's priority list. He's been casually looking online to see how easy/hard it would be to find one. It seems like every place online that has them is out of stock. Today he found it in stock at Toys R Us online, but didn't want to pay the shipping costs. During his lunch he drove around to a couple stores to see if they had any and actually found some in stock at Costco. So, now we have a Wii. It's actually a lot of fun. I might become a video game player now. You never know
It's funny because earlier Adam had said how much he wanted a game system- I am sure that he is loving it! What games do you have for it? And, I bet you will love playing it as well! I am not a game system player, but I do enjoy the Wii!

I got it at Costco, where they sold it as part of a bundle that came with Super Mario Galaxy (which is awesome) and Wii Play, which is okay. I traded in my old Gamecube and a few old games in order to get a game called Boom Blox, which is a ton of fun in both single player and especially multiplayer mode.

Hi Lisa! I'm glad you found us too. I can't believe your baby is 1 already! He a cutie little boy. I bet you're a great little mom. I have been opposed to game systems for so long, until the Wii came out. It does look like fun. That's going to be Tim's gift when he finishes his Master's. It will be too big of a distraction if we got it before that. I hope you have fun with it!

HAHA!! I knew you guys would get a Wii soon! Adam was just sounding too in love with it after you guys went to Anika's and played it. Have you guys been playing it nonstop?
