Grandma's swing set
First swing.
First slide.
We might have to work on the landing a bit.
Joshua is doing better on the grass. He tried pushing the car around, but it didn't push very well on the grass.
That night we were all oooing and ahhhing at Ryan taking some steps and Joshua decided he would try it out, too. He took about four steps on his own, which was the most he had done so far. Everyday since then he has gained more and more confidence and has taken more and more steps. Today I counted up to 16 steps at a time. We used to stand him up a few steps away from us and try to coax him to walk to us. Sometimes he would try, but usually he would just kneel down and crawl over. Now he is taking off on his own from a standing position, like from the coffee table to his toys. I'll be doing the dishes and the next thing I know he's walking towards me from his little table. It's CRAZY to see your baby walking. We are very excited, but at the same time it's kind of surreal to see him toddle around. He gets so excited, too, and as he laughs, he loses his concentration and kneels down. It's fun to watch him learn and grow in confidence and he realizes he can do this.
